Understanding the Basics of Slack
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Hays County Democratic Party uses Slack for internal communications. Slack is a collaboration tool that brings together organizations and businesses to connect their people with key information and resources. Many Fortune 100 companies use Slack to connect their teams and unify their systems.
It’s important for the success of the Hays County Democratic Party that we communicate effectively. So, in general, we need our precinct chairs to use Slack rather than email for all our internal conversations.
To get you up to speed with Slack, Communications co-chair Gina Fant-Simon has created this video tutorial below. Also, Slack offers an app for smart phones — it’s a good idea to install it for easier access to Slack conversations.
For more information on using Slack, see the company’s Quick Start Guide.
If you are a precinct chair and need access to Slack, contact us at info@hayscountydems.org.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]
